Penrose Dock Office Development

Project Description: Modifications to permitted buildings and development of 2 no. additional office structures.
Services: Coakley O’Neill were appointed as planning consultants to provide project coordination for applications to modify the permitted Penrose Dock A & B Buildings. In addition, Coakley O’Neill have been working to secure planning permission for an additional 2 no. office buildings to the west at Oxford International. This application is currently in the planning system and a positive decision is expected. The Penrose Dock Development has the potential to increase Grade A Office Space in Cork City by upwards of 403,000sqft, upon completion.

Ryanair DAC


Client: Ryanair DAC
Timeframe: 2018 – Ongoing
Project Description: Development: 6-storey, 10,700sqm Office Building as extension to existing HQ in Swords, preparation of Masterplan Submission, Application for Ryanair Training Centre of Excellence in Santry.
Services: Coakley O’Neill, working as sub-consultants to Atkins, have been working as planning consultants on behalf of Ryanair DAC, to further expand the company’s physical presence in Dublin. Over the last two years Coakley O’Neill have helped to achieve planning permission for Ryanair’s new Headquarter Building in Airside Business Park, made a successful masterplan submission leading to a more favourable outcome for Ryanair’s future expansion plans, and are preparing a planning application for the provision of a Training centre of Excellence in Santry.
