Project Description: 202no. residential unit development (182no. apartments, 20no. houses) at the site of the former Good Shepherd Convent, Sunday’s Well, Cork, permitted by An Bord Pleanála following multiple 3rd party appeals on 19th September, 2018. This is very sensitive site, given its historical use, with existing Protected Structures, is located in an ACA, and is part designated Landscape Preservation Zone.
Services: Coakley O’Neill provided all planning, design review, consultation, application, Further Information and appeal services for the proposed development.

Project Description: Housing development of 74no. 3 & 4 bed semi-detached and detached units
Services: Coakley O’Neill were appointed as planning consultants to provide project co-ordination services for a multi-disciplinary team team including architects, archaeologists. traffic engineers, Civil and structural engineers and ecologists, to prepare all appropriate documentation in order to achieve a positive result, without any third party appeals to An Bord Pleanála. It is further noted that the development of the subject site represented the first residential development in the designated Ballyvolane Urban Expansion Area of Cork.

Project Description: Housing development of 56no. residential units
Services: Coakley O’Neill were appointed as planning consultants to provide project co-ordination up to planning approval stage for a residential development in former institutional grounds, within the curtilage of 3 no. protected structures. Planning permission was achieved on 25th July, and following a positive experience with the planning process, the client has since developed a second phase of development for a further 21 no. housing units, with Coakley O’Neill once again involved to ensure that a successful outcome is achieved.
