Project Description: Development: 162no. bed hotel development over 3 to 7 storeys, principally accessed from Deane Street, as well as Parnell Place, with ground floor reception area, restaurant/bar, retail unit, foodhall and café/retail unit
Services: Coakley O’Neill acting as planning consultants on a multi-disciplinary design team, secured planning permission for the development of a 162 bed hotel, including ground floor restaurant/bar, retail units, foodhall and café unit. The proposed development provided the re-development of 2 no. protected structures, which had suffered long term vacancy and had fallen into disrepair. Furthermore, the proposed development included the reopening of an historic laneway through the site, connecting Parnell Place to Deane Street. Construction works on the hotel are expected to begin in Winter 2019.
